Terms of Service

1. The Agreement

By creating an account or using senior--match.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. We've written these terms in plain English and they form a binding agreement between you and SeniorMatch.

2. Who May Use SeniorMatch

You must be at least 50 years old (or the age of majority in your country, whichever is higher) to create an account, and you may only create one account for yourself. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account.

3. Honest Profiles

Profiles must represent you truthfully: your real age, recent photos of yourself, and honest intentions. Profiles that are fake, misleading, or created to promote businesses, services or other platforms will be removed. Members may complete our verification process to display a verified badge.

4. Community Conduct

SeniorMatch works because members treat each other well. You agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten, demean or discriminate against any member
• Send unsolicited sexual content or requests
• Ask other members for money, gifts, financial information or investments — for any reason
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Service for any commercial, promotional or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to access other members' accounts or private information

Breaches of this section lead to immediate removal. We review every member report personally and act quickly — see our safety guide for how reporting works.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the photos and text you post. By posting, you grant us a limited licence to display that content within the Service to other members. You may remove your content at any time by editing or deleting your profile. Don't post content you don't have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes anyone's rights.

6. Free and Premium Features

Core membership — joining, creating a profile, browsing and replying — is free. Premium features, when purchased, are billed clearly in advance, renew only with your knowledge, and can be cancelled at any time from your account settings with effect from the next billing period. We don't do hidden fees, difficult cancellations or surprise charges.

7. What the Service Is (and Isn't)

SeniorMatch provides a platform for introductions. We verify profiles and moderate reports in good faith, but we cannot guarantee the conduct, intentions or identity of every member, and we are not a party to relationships or arrangements formed through the Service. Meeting anyone always carries some risk — please follow the guidance in our safety guide.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SeniorMatch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, including the actions of other members online or offline. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Ending the Relationship

You may delete your account at any time from your settings — no calls, no obstacles. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, with notice where appropriate. Provisions that by their nature should survive (content licences for content already shared, liability limitations) survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Meaningful changes will be announced by email and on the site before taking effect, and continued use after that point constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
